Sledding

We recently took the girls sledding and had so much Fun. We invited our friends the Miller's and Riley's-Gee's. We discovered the BEST time to go is on a Sunday morning about 11:00 a.m while everyone is in church. We (Heathens) had the hill to ourselves, it was wonderful.
All of the guys in the top middle picture are probably going to kick my butt for putting that picture on here, but I couldn't resist. All of us girls piled in the sled to see how far we would go, so naturally we challenged the guys to see if they would go farther. When they got to the bottom of the hill this is how their conversation went:
Chuck: This is the gayest thing I have ever done!

Justin: Yeah man, me too!

Clint: Hey at least we still have all of our clothes on!

It was so much fun! Going sledding to this particular park brought back a memory I have of sledding from last year. Sunni and I took our girls, get all the snow gear on the kids, they go down maybe 2 times. Trin says "Mom, I gotta go BAD!" I say "Okay, let's run over to the bathroom." Trin: "No Mom, I gotta go right now, I can't hold it!" Me: "We'll run it will be okay!" Well before I could get to Trin, she's dropped trow and going to the bathroom right there under a tree at the park. I'm talking to the BATHROOM, if you know what I mean. I run to her telling her to pull up her pants, she tried, but Damn it was a real "Crappy" mess. We finally made it to the bathroom and got her cleaned up, but I made it very clear that you do not do that "crap" at a park. I don't think I've ever seen Sunni laugh so hard. Looking back it is way funny, but I sure didn't think so at the time.
Oh, Everyday is a different adventure with kids. I love them so much.
