We spent our New Year's with my family at my brother Danny's house. We had fun playing games, eating, and just enjoying each other's company. All of the kids were getting tired so we ended our night at about 11:30 with a toast with some sparkling cider and were home by 12:02.
Danny and his sweet wife Lisa have a "Cabin" in Island Park that just got built, so we all went up for the weekend. Cabin just isn't the right word for this beautiful, big home. None of us wanted to go back to our little houses. We were hoping to get snowed in up there for a few more days.
Justin and Jay D. were in Heaven. They could just walk a little ways down to the reservoir and ice fish. Justin said to me about 50 times "Oh, man this is Heaven!" There are speakers throughout the house and the deck, you plug in an ipod and you can hear it wherever you want to. While fishing the guys listened to AC/DC, Justin found this amazing.
There is a closet under the stairs that is pretty big, Zoe and Lindsee slept there the first night. They said it was there secret hideaway. Trin took her little boom box and they had a good time dancing and singing.
A BIG Thank-you goes out to Danny and Lisa for opening up their beautiful cabin to all of us. We had so much fun!

We did have fun didn't we?
It was so much fun having all of us together in one house. What was the nicest of all was if you wanted some alone time, all you had to do was just walk into another area of the house. I loved how the kids gave us a show and entertained themselves for so long!! What a wonderful, fun weekend for all of us!! Love-Mom
