Thanksgiving Fun!

Do you ever wonder what will happen to a little boy when two little girls get a hold of a squirt bottle, comb, and hair spray? Well this is it. We have had Jay D., Paula, and Elliott visiting us over the holiday. Poor Elliott gets sick of the girls ALWAYS wanting to pack him around. But he loves his "Momma Susie," that's what he calls me. Paula isn't too fond of that, she tells him "I'm the momma, she's the Auntie!" It's really quite funny! Thanks for staying with us, we love having you here! Here are the girls wearing what they made in school for Thanksgiving! We went to Salt Lake and spent Thanksgiving with Justin's family. We had a wonderful dinner and a great time visiting with everyone! A BIG thank-you goes out to Gretchen. She's my sister-in-law who is the best hostess, she always makes sure everyone is well taken care of! We love you Auntie Gretch!

Visiting Rich!

My Mom, Paula, and I went and saw my little brother Richard last Sunday! It was good to see him, he's doing really good. We are excited to have him home with us for a while in February. I also enjoyed the drive over to Twin Falls with Paula and my mom, the time always goes by too fast when you're having a good time.

Look What the Wind Blew In!

The girls went outside and found this huge "tree" in our pasture. It's really just a big tumbleweed. They thought that it was so cool, so they brought it into our yard. I must admit, it is a huge weed.

I had to stop Zoe from bringing it into the house. They both thought we could use it for a Christmas tree.

They both thought they were pretty tough because they could lift the "tree!"

Rainy Days

Here's what the kids like to do on rainy days at our house! Build forts out of blankets and play in it for the entire day!

Sneak into Mom's room and get into her make-up. Zoe came out with a bunch of jewelry on and said "I'm a rich girl," Trin said "I'm a kitty!" Trin also had a toilet paper tail too! I love their imaginations. Zoe has been sick with croop this week since Sunday. School got cancelled for us today due to the school being filled with smoke. Our school is really old and they had some electrical problems with the furniss, we awoke this morning to 4 fire trucks and police cars over at the school. I'm glad none of the kids were at school when this happened. So we are taking advantage of the rainy day by having some fun!!

I just had to add this picture of my mom. She saw this Corvette behind her and really liked it, so she's holding up her keys acting like it's hers. Keep dreaming mom, I'm sure one day you can have a car like that. But for now you'll have to stick with your little Ford Escort that I know you just love! I love you Mom!

Happy Halloween!

I should start by saying that my Halloween started off crazy! My friend Sunni and I went to the school and popped 300 bags of popcorn for all the kids in the school, we thought we could get it done before we both had to be to work at 11:30. Well, we didn't make it and had to call for reinforcements, so thank-you to all who helped! We gave the kids popcorn because every Friday we have "Sucker Friday" for the kids. We sell candy, pencils, play dough, popcorn, and other goodies for .25 (this is a great way to earn money for your school, we make over a $100.00 every week!). Well the kids loved getting the free popcorn and the craziness of getting it done was worth it!

Here are the kids at the Trunk or Treat! Can you tell Austin was thrilled to be there, he said he was too old to go trick or treating (he's only 11). But with a little persuasion from Auntie Susie he put on Justin's mask and got some candy. I just have to add that Austin or "Bud" as we like to call him is the BEST kid ever and I love him so much! I think all the kids looked great in their costumes!

Before the Trunk or Treating, my mom "Grandma Linda" came up and gave the girls a little something for Halloween. The girls were excited to see her here after we got home from school. She loved her little "Devil" and "Hippie"!

We went and saw "Grandpa Motorcycle" and "Grandma Carolyn" too. They were excited that we had stopped by. Our night ended at Grandma and Grandpa Lage's house for homemade bread, chili, and spud nuts! All the fun we had together was well worth the craziness of the day!We had a Great Halloween, the weather was nice, we spent time as a family and we were home and asleep by 10:00! What more could you ask for?

Fall Time, My Favorite Time!

Fall is my favorite time of year! I love to take pictures in the fall, the one above is one of my favorites so far this year. I took this last week. The girls are walking down our very long driveway.

Trin made this sign, the girls were so excited to rake the leaves and play in them. I buried Trin in the leaves and she tried to jump out and scare Zoe, but it didn't work very well our cat started playing with her and she was laughing too hard to scare Zoe.

Playhouse Fun!

When you were little didn't you always want a playhouse? Well, I did. The other night Justin brought home these big wooden crates that tractor parts come in and we decided that we could build the girls a playhouse. We've started to take all the crates apart and now we have the floor done and almost one wall put up.

We're not really sure what we're doing, but I'm confident that it will be an awesome playhouse when we're done. The girl's keep asking if we are going to add an upstairs and a staircase. I don't think that will happen, we'll be lucky if it gets a roof on it! Oh, and it is bigger than the picture you see here. Probably the best thing about the play house is that I think we will be able to build the whole thing free!
