Trin, Lindsee, Zoe, and myself took off last week to spend some time with my sister and her family. We were hoping the weather was going to be nicer down there, since it's been raining here non-stop for two weeks now. It wasn't, it rained everyday down there too. We still managed to have some fun, though. On Monday evening we went on a walk and fed some little goats, the kids really enjoyed that. Then we had to get in the hot tub that night, Elliott was being so funny! One of the girls would go under water and he would say "Trin okay, okay?" it was cute and I guess you just had to be there. On Tuesday we went and saw the movie UP, we loved it! Paula was a little nervous about taking the kids to the movie. She's been watching her friends little guy who is 4 months old, so she didn't know how he would do in the movie, but he was wonderful and so were the rest of the kids!

On Wednesday we went and saw my cousin Alyce and her kids. It was nice to let the kids play and catch up with Alyce. Paula left Alyce's house a little early so that Elliott could have a nap. When we got back to her house I told the girls to be quiet in case he was still sleeping. Paula said "oh he's not, maybe now he will get out of bed!" She went into get him and apparently he wouldn't get out of bed because I wasn't there! Ahhhh...it feels great to be that loved by such a cute little fella! That night Paula and Jay D. went out with their friends, so I watched Elliott for them. Paula bought these little frames for the kids to color while she was gone, they loved it and they did a great job. We didn't get to do half of the things we wanted to do with the kids because all it did was rain. But we still had a good time. Thanks Paula for everything, we love you!
