Zoe's Teeth

Zoe lost her first tooth on December 22, 2008! The Dentist pulled it and had to fill some cavities, I'm not going to mention how many he has to fill. So if you are someone who does know, please don't say anything, it's embarrassing. We are lucky that she loves the Dentist so much. This day she asked if she could wear a dress and get all fancy for the Dentist. The weather was way too crappy though.

Utah Fun!

I know it's been a while since I posted anything, here's what we've been up to in the past couple of weeks. In December we went and stayed with Paula and Jay D. for a few days while Justin went to Houston for work. We had a BLAST!

Jay D. is so Awesome! He knows the best places to shop. He introduced me to this total GHETTO store called NPS. You can tell in this picture what a crap hole it is, but man do they have good deals. Where else can you go and get designer goods for a fraction of the price. There are some shady people there but, I feel pretty safe with Jay D. around. He found this Ratfink bike that was so cool. I think he would have bought it if he had the money for it. He told me if he had it he would hook up Elliott's little pull behind thingy and take him on rides. Thanks Jade for carting me around to shop. Sorry Paula, I think you learned just to expect us to be gone for at least a couple of hours everytime we went to a store.
We helped the girls make a snowman and snow lady on Saturday night. The booby trap for the lady is made out of Crown Royal bags (Jay D.'s idea). I think they turned out pretty cute and we had a ball making them.

A couple of months ago, Justin purchased Cheetah Girl tickets for Paula, Trin, Zoe, and myself. We were suppose to see them on Dec. 15th while Justin was in Houston. Paula and I were so excited to get the girls all dressed up and take them to their first concert. Well, we arrived in Utah Friday night, Justin checked his email at about 10 p.m. and found out the concert was cancelled. The one girl that I thought would be the most disappointed about it (Trin) was not, she was just like "okay, whatever!" Zoe on the other hand was extremely ticked off (Thanks Cheetah Girls, I really appreciate ya!). We promised we would do something else. So we started the night off with dinner at a really good Mexican restaurant.

Then we went to the musical "Babes in Toyland" I wasn't quite sure how the girlies would do, but they loved it and were wonderful. I really enjoyed it too, I would like to continue to take them to musicals. They both LOVE to sing and dance.

Here we are in front of the theater, does it look like we're in the ghetto? I still had the DVD player hooked up in the car, I asked Paula if I should cover it with a blanket....Her response..Oh yeah, were in Magna.

After the play at about 11:00 p.m. we decided to make this gingerbread house. Well, I couldn't get the damn thing to stay together with frosting so I had to resort to hot glue. We had so much fun making that. We all added our own little something to it. Paula added the nice addition of Tim McGraw in the back window.

Thanks Paula and Jay D. for letting us stay with you, we always have such a great time. We love you...Oh yeah Paula, that's a HOT night gown you have on!!!

Happy Birthday Kaden

Happy Birthday Kaden! I hope you had a great birthday. I love you so much, you bring so much joy into our lives! I think you are the most mellow, easy going little man around. I made it up to the hospital just minutes after you were born, I was so excited I could hardly contain myself. We are so lucky to have 2 GREAT little 2yr. old boys in our family! Happy Birthday Little Man! This post is actually a day late, I'm sorry. I would've posted at Paula's but she doesn't have this absolutely Adorable picture of Kaden on her computer. This is my Favorite picture of Kaden. You can't help but smile when you see this little guy. We love you Kaden. Auntie Susie (your Favorite). The favorite part is for you Paula!

A Weekend in Yellowstone!

Our good friends the Miller's invited to go to West Yellowstone with them this past weekend. We had a good time relaxing, swimming, eating, and playing games. When we got home my friend Sunni and I realized we didn't take any pictures of all of us together. Thank-you Sunni and Clint, we're so lucky we have such Great friends! Here we are getting ready to go for a swim!
We wanted to take the kids sledding or do something fun in the snow, but there wasn't any. So the kids had to settle for this playground. We were so busy swimming, I don't think they cared that there wasn't any snow!

Zoe loves it when Justin flips her hair out. She says that her dad does it way better than me, I think I agree with her. Even though Justin looks grumpy in this picture, he really doesn't mind doing the girls hair. I think it's so cute that he does it for them!

Tea Party!

Zoe has been asking to have her friend Zoey over for a tea party, so last Wednesday she had her over. They were all so excited. I had fun preparing all the goodies. They sat there giggling and talking for over a hour. I love to listen to little kids talk to each other when they think nobody is listening, they say the funniest stuff.
